The Happiest Place on Earth

Hello friends! I know this is super late but I wanted to share my spring break trip to Disney World! Disney is one of my favourite places, I never get tired of going there. (in fact I just went in September:) My friend V and I went to Orlando for a few days over our spring break to celebrate our senior year! Although we were only able to go to the parks for 2 days, we made sure we made the most of our stay!

First stop, Disney Springs!

There is so much to do here and see! We may have spent 3 days here…delicious foods, tons of shops and Disney magic! We had to make a stop by Blaze for some pizza and hit the Lilly store as well. They have so many different places to choose from, you will never get bored!

The springs is also perfect for photo opts. We made sure we took advantage of that opportunity. Here are some of my favourite places to eat in the springs:

  • The Boathouse so good and you can sit out on the dock with the boats going by. So lovely! I would also recommend the casear salad if you need a light lunch!
  • Blaze you can never go wrong with some Blaze, thank goodness they are opening one near me soon!
  • Terralina classic Italian, my fav! The bread is amazing!

What are your favourite spots to eat in the springs?

Te Fiti and Dole Whip

We were only able to spend 2 days in the parks because you know broke college students haha. So we decided to go and explore some of the other Disney resorts. We visited almost all of the them. My favourite would have to be either the Beach Club or the Grand Floridan. If only one day we could stay there! We also had to make a pit stop at the Polynesian for some Dole Whips!

Toy Story Land

First Disney Park: Hollywood Studios

Hollywood studios is such a fun and exciting park to visit! I’m so excited for all of the new additions they are making to it. Toy Story Land is amazing! This was my first time visiting it and let me say you actually feel like you are the size of a toy! We rode Toy Story Mania and Slinky Dog. Slinky Dog was quite the wait but 110% worth it! Can’t wait to go back and ride it again! Maybe with the opening of Star Wars Land the wait times will go down. What are your favourite rides in Hollywood Studios?

Next Stop: Epcot

My favourite Disney park! So much culture and science encompassed with this park! I always learn something new every time I go! We were sure to hit up TestTrack and Soarin, of course! As well as, I saw Frozen for the first time and let me say it was definitely worth the wait. We also met up with a fellow blogger along the way to grab some ciders in the UK:)

After a long day of park hopping, we decided to get something to eat over in Italy. We went to Tutto Italia Ristorante. It was AMAZING! 100% worth the money and wait. I can’t wait to go back again! I highly recommend the spaghetti, true Italian pasta! Where are your favourite places to eat in Epcot?

Last Stop: Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom is so magical every time I go! Walking down Main Street, smelling the freshly baked cookies with the barbershop quartet singing. We got to Magic Kingdom right at rope drop and made sure we used our entire day there! I’m pretty impressed that we were able to do almost every ride! We rode Space Mountain 5x, my favourite ride!

My favourite Magic Kingdom rides:

  • Space Mountain: a roller coaster all in the dark! So fun! If you go right in the morning, you can ride multiple times with no wait!
  • The Peoplemover: so relaxing and a prime spot for people watching
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: had to see my favourite pirate Jack

What are your favourites?

I can’t wait to go back again soon, I’m already planning my next trip! What are your favourite Disney tips/tricks?

Cheers xoxo

Where Dreams Come True: Part 2

I’m going to pick up where I left off on my Disney vacation with the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood studios!

Magic Kingdom

The most magical place on earth! There are so many rides and attractions to see here, you might need more than one day! With 6 different themed lands, there is so much to see! My favorite is Main Street U.S.A! The smells of the fresh baked goods with the friendly faces make it so home-like. What is your favorite?

Disney is filled with delicious foods and treats to try! Some of my favorites in the Magic Kingdom are the Dole Whip located at Aloha Isle in Adventureland. It’s a nice and refreshing treat on a hot day! Also, be sure to stop by Gaston’s Tavern for a warm cinnamon bun the size of your head!

My favorite rides in Magic Kingdom:

  • Space Mountain
  • The Peoplemover
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Storytime: During our visit to the Haunted Mansion’s pre-show, the cast member in the room decided to get very into his role. At the end of the pre-show when the lights go out, he moved to be in front of my sisters and I. Once the lights came back on he was standing right in front of us just staring. My sister didn’t notice at first then she turned and screamed so loud. It was so funny and had the whole room laughing! He really made our stay!

Hollywood Studios

The behind-the-scenes of all things Hollywood! There are so many live shows, thrilling attractions and backstage tours behind all of the magic!

My favorite rides:

Tower of Terror: This ride is so much fun! I feel like I walked right into the 1930s hotel! The bellhops make you feel like you are an actual guest at the hotel as they send you off to the twilight zone. Be sure to hold on tight, I always fall out of my seat!

The Muppets 3D Vision: Such a sweet and funny movie with some of your favorite muppets characters! Gotta love Beaker!

Rockin Rollercoaster: One of the biggest thrills Disney offers. 0-57mph in 2.8 seconds with a series of inversions, loops, and corkscrews. There are 5 different cars that all have a song to go with them, so you never know what you will get!

My favorite spot to eat in Hollywood Studios is PizzeRizzo! Featuring your favorite muppet Rizzo, there is a wide section of foods for anyone! My favorite is the pizza, It’s nothing fancy but for some reason it’s so good!

What are your favorite tips and tricks of Walt Disney World?
